Anne Tellett is an Assistant Professor and is also responsible for the cultural competence initiative for the Department of Social Work. She received her MSSW from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and completed her doctorate in Education from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. Anne has worked as a social worker in Northeastern Minnesota for the past 20 years and has been associated with the Department as an adjunct instructor and community advisory committee member for many years. She now teaches Organization and Community Practice II, Advanced Practice in Administration and Community Development, Grant writing and Field. Her areas of interest include cultural competence, racial and gender identity development, systems thinking, leadership development, gerontology, planning, transformational learning, critical thinking, and program development.
