Professional Day Meetings

The Office of Field Experiences has a Professional Day that is REQUIRED of all teacher candidates that will going out into schools over the semester. There is a general session together and then break out sessions across campus. All teacher candidates will choose their break out sessions in one of their Block courses. You may receive your Block placements during Professional Day. 

Dates:

Fall 2015: Friday, September 11th Kirby Ballroom 8:00 am to 12 pm.

Spring 2016: Friday, January 22nd Kirby Ballroom 8:00am to 12:00 pm

Required at Professional Day (You cannot be placed in schools unless the following is completed):

  1. Receipt from purchasing Education Minnesota Liability Insurance. You can obtain the insurance with a credit card. Insurance is only good until August the year of purchase. So if you purchased Fall or Spring, you will need to purchase it again for the following Fall.
  2. Completed Background Check.
  3. Mantoux test results if placed in Superior. You will be contacted by Office of Field Experiences if this applies to you.
