Communication Sciences and Disorders - tenure-track

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Minnesota Duluth is seeking a full-time 9-month tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor to begin August 22, 2022. Successful applicants will hold a doctoral degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) or related field from an accredited institution. Applicants must have a commitment to equity and diversity and serving diverse populations. In addition, all applicants must have current ASHA certification (CCC) and meet eligibility for state clinical licensure.

Early Childhood Education (Endowed Position) - with tenure

The College of Education and Human Service Professions and the Department of Education seek an early childhood educator of excellence, committed to anti-racist pedagogy and social justice. The faculty assignment consists of - teaching undergraduate and graduate pre-service or practicing teachers in Early Childhood Education; supervising student teachers; advising students enrolled in education programs; serving on department, university, and state-wide committees; and other activities as assigned. Scholarship that advances the field, including research and publication, is required.

The primary position is for an Associate or full Professor with indefinite tenure. This position carries an additional endowment to support scholarship and program development. The endowment will commence with a two-year assignment which is renewable based on accomplishments.

Environmental and Outdoor Education (emphasis on Childhood Nature Studies) - tenure-track

The Department of Applied Human Sciences at the University of Minnesota Duluth seeks to add one full time (100%) tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor within its Environmental and Outdoor Education/Children & Nature Studies program and the Master of Environmental Education program. Responsibilities include teaching relevant courses such as: children and nature; theoretical foundations; program development and evaluation; research methods; curriculum development; and education methodology.
