When did you start at UMD? Why did you choose to work at UMD?
I started at UMD in 2016, and I chose to work at UMD because it seemed like a good fit for my interests and experience.
What do you like most about your job?
Being able to prepare the next generation of psychologists to enter the field.
What is your research focus?
The intersection of consumer psychology and implicit bias, for instance by investigating how implicit bias toward a brand can influence one’s likelihood of purchasing that brand’s products.
Do you have any advice for students?
Start getting research experience and other extracurricular experiences early!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to analyze and dissect movies, and travel.
