Mary Soltis started working at UMD in 2013. She serves as coordinator of the Deaf Studies program's American Sign Languages (ASL) Lab, which is based in the Department of Education.
Why did you choose to work at UMD?
I was looking for a full-time job at that time and found this position that fit right into me.
What do you like most about your job?
I love helping students to learn ASL in the lab.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Read a book and do outdoor activities.
