Bio

Sandra van den Bosse is a Dutch national who came to the United States in 2003 after many years working in human rights and international development in the former Yugoslavia, England, and the Philippines.                                                       

In the US her focus has been responding to domestic violence. She has co-facilitated men's non-violence classes and has worked on national reform initiatives.

She obtained her MSW at UMD in 2008 and had her graduate thesis on childhood exposure to domestic violence published by the journal Child Welfare.

Sandra's areas of interest include: system’s change, non-profit capacity building, critical thinking, cultural responsiveness, international citizenship and domestic violence, especially where it intersects with child welfare.
