Being part of the Department of Education at UMD means you are part of our community. Together, we create an environment conducive to preparing the learner-sensitive educator. This is reflected in the name of our building Endazhi-gikinoo’amaading, meaning ‘The place of teaching and learning together’ in the Native Ojibwe language.
Our website is designed to assist you and provide the basic information on how to successfully obtain a degree in education, whether at the undergraduate level, graduate level, post-baccalaureate or certification program.
