Erin received her Masters in Social Work from UMD in May 2014 and worked in the nonprofit sector in Duluth for about 8 years in the domestic violence and youth-serving agency fields. Her most recent work was as Executive Director of Mentor North from 2019-2021. Erin began teaching adjunct with the department in the Fall 2016 and moved into a full time instructor role Fall 2021. She enjoys teaching BSW and MSW Field, BSW Senior Capstone courses, and Global Issues. In addition to being an instructor, Erin is a Men's Group Facilitator with the Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs, facilitating weekly group sessions Wednesday nights. In her spare time she can be found exploring the Superior Hiking Trail, enjoying the local music, reading the newspaper and knitting.
