Why are you excited to be a Peer Advisor?
I like helping people. I myself needed a lot of assistance figuring out my major, what classes to take, etc. I was able to get the help I needed by going to advisors for assistance. I wish to use all of this experience meeting with advisors and using UMD's resources to help others get the information and assistance they need!
What is your favorite thing about UMD?
My favorite thing about UMD is the setting of the school. I love Lake Superior and Northern Minnesota as it has been a crucial part of my childhood. My family would always go on trips "up north" and it was a very fun place to be. Now I get to be here for extended periods of time exploring and enjoying the northern shore!
