Hi! My name is Madi and I am very excited to be joining the Children’s Place. I graduated from UMD in 2022 with a Psychology major and an Environmental and Outdoor Education minor. I have spent the past year doing Environmental Education work at Hartley Nature Center and have found my passion for Early Childhood Education. Prior to my work at Hartley, I have worked at many summer camps and have always loved working with children. I aim to create a space where children are free to explore, play, and find their own interests while feeling nurtured and
supported.
In my free time I love to spend time with my friends and family. I love to hike around all of the parks Duluth has to offer, collect sea glass and agates from the beaches, play guitar, and cook. I am happy to be returning back to UMD and to be joining the Children’s Place Community!
