My name is Jill! I graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from UMD. I majored in Elementary/Middle School Education with a minor in Teaching English. I started my Early Childhood journey at the YWCA Early Childhood Center in Duluth and continued there for the next 8 ½ years until moving on to UMD Children’s Place. At the YWCA, I spent the majority of my years as one of the Infant Teachers. In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and my 2 young boys. They keep me on my toes and I love that about them. I also enjoy being outdoors and exploring all of the natural beauty Duluth has to offer. I believe that children should be offered open-ended activities and that they learn best through play. I am very excited to be an Educator here and truly enjoy getting to know you and your families.
