Hi! I'm Ally and I am beyond excited to be joining Children's Place! I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from The College of Saint Scholastica. After receiving my degree, I ventured to Mexico to teach English to young and adult learners. After returning home to Duluth, I taught in a variety of settings including preschool and summer school. I also substitute taught in Duluth and Hermantown school districts. Recently I have been an infant educator at a center and couldn't be happier working with such a wonderful age group. I believe that kids need to be kids and I promote learning through play. Children deserve a strong foundation in early childhood education to develop into successful individuals. I look forward to taking great care of the children in the program and becoming a member of the UMD community. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and our almost one-year-old daughter. We love to fish on Lake Superior and take our dog swimming on Park Point. I'm from Duluth and love what this are has to offer!
