Meeting Schedule

The following schedule is set for Fall 2025; meetings will be cancelled if there are no curriculum or policy items for an agenda; all meetings will be held on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. via Zoom on the following dates:

• September 18, 2025
• October 2, 2025
• October 16, 2025
• October 30, 2025
• November 13, 2025
   

Curriculum proposals should be submitted electronically to Lynn Velander by 3:30 p.m. the Wednesday (one week) prior to the meeting.

Important EVCAA Deadlines

New Courses and Changes to Existing Courses

New Courses and Changes to Existing Courses for Spring and Summer 2026 MUST be received in the Dean's Office by September 10, 2025 (October 22, 2025 for Fall 2026) in order to be reviewed and approved through the Graduate Programs Council and meet the EVCAA Deadline below.  Requests made after the deadline date will be reviewed for the following semester.  If only one change to a current course is requested, or to request a previously approved special topics title to be taught again, a memo from the department head to the Dean or Associate Dean requesting the change may be forwarded on to the EVCAA for Academic Affairs approval.

Program Changes (including changes to sample plans)

Changes MUST be reviewed by the deadline date, requests made after the deadline date will be reviewed for the following semester as programs will ONLY be made with a Fall effective date.

New Program Proposal

Proposals and changes received AFTER the deadline date will be reviewed for the next effective date.
