Welcome to the Department of Education
The name of our building, Endazhi-gikinoo'amaading, is an Ojibwe phrase for “A Place of Learning and Teaching Together.” If you love learning and teaching together with children and adults of all ages, the Department of Education is the community for you! We are guided by a Learner-Centered Educator framework, and are committed to the idea of using education to help each other become better humans.
On our website, you will find information about our programs and how we work with our local, regional, and global communities. We offer majors that will provide you opportunities to teach students from birth to adulthood, and minors that can strengthen your knowledge and skills in working with a wide variety of learners.
