Community Outreach

Community Advisory Council on Teacher Education (CACTE)

The Community Advisory Council on Teacher Education (CACTE), is a collaborative relationship between P-12 schools and the University of Minnesota Duluth, Department of Education and Teacher Education Programs, provides leadership in the preparation of teacher candidates for the teaching profession.  The Community Advisory Council on Teacher Education’s (CACTE) mission is to be involved, through input towards decisions and planning together, in the design, implementation and evaluation of the University of Minnesota Duluth Teacher Preparation Programs that prepare teacher candidates for the teaching profession.   This group includes representation from all of the identified Program Advisory Boards.
