Dana R. Collins, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is an associate professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Dr. Collins earned her Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Iowa in 2003.  She teaches courses in anatomy and physiology, speech science, motor speech disorders, voice disorders, and craniofacial disorders as well as acting as a research project advisor for graduate students.   She is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA),  and a member of Special Interest Groups 3, (Voice Disorders), 5 (Craniofacial and Velopharyngeal Disorders), and 19 (Speech Science).  She is also a member of  the American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association (ACPA), the Minnesota Speech Language Hearing Association (MNSHA) and serves as a consultant for the Community Facial Dental Clinic in Duluth, Minnesota.
