Professional Interests: Zmudy teaches adventure education and outdoor pursuits to undergraduate students, working on degrees in physical education teacher education (PETE) and environmental and outdoor education (EOE). His research interests include adventure education and outdoor pursuits, with a particular focus on creating instructional environments in outdoor, adventure, and physical education that are welcoming to people of all genders, races, cultures, ability levels, and backgrounds.
