- M.S. in Cultural Foundations of Education - University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee
- Currently has all but dissertation status in Cultural Foundations of Education - University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee
- She is focused on Tribally Led Research Projects working with the National Science Foundation and Northern tribal communities. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in traditional, seasonal Ojibwe practices that involve land-based, intergenerational outdoor learning modes. Sarah is a member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe and a direct descendant of the Fond Du Lac Band of Mississippi Ojibwe.
