My professional experience includes child welfare practice, a broad range of social work in medicine and healthcare, palliative care clinical social work, psychotherapy, and college mental health. Areas of practice include historical and intergenerational trauma, racialized trauma, decolonizing social work practice, interpersonal violence, sexual violence and abuse, living with serious illness, palliative care, death and dying, complicated grief and loss, and college mental health.

As a former Title IV-E scholar and practitioner in child welfare, I am committed to preparing social workers to enter the child welfare field with renewed skills in self-care and resiliency, with a practice lens grounded in undoing oppression and trauma-informed praxis and engagement.
