The University of Minnesota's Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) offers financial awards twice yearly to full time undergraduates for research, scholarly, or creative projects undertaken in partnership with a faculty member.
UROP encourages students to conduct research and pursue academic interests outside of their regular courses by employing them to work on special research projects. CEHSP students are eligible and encouraged to apply. Additional web pages with UROP information can be found in the menu on the left of this page.
Awards include up to $1,800 in a scholarship award for hours worked and up to $300 for project-related expenses.
The next UROP Application/Proposal deadline date is Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11:59 PM for Fall 2024 semester projects.
