Cyndee Johnson received her undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and her Master of Education degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She is a dedicated physical education teacher and life-long learner. Her passion for education includes 40 years of teaching physical education and adaptive physical education at Esko Schools, along with 21 years of coaching experience.
Cyndee has presented at the Central District Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) America Convention, North Dakota SHAPE Conference, Minnesota SHAPE Conference and will present at the 2018 National SHAPE America Convention.
Her accomplishments include: 2017 Central District SHAPE America Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year, 2016 SHAPE America Outstanding Physical Activity Leader Award, 2015 Minnesota SHAPE Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year, 2008 Minnesota SHAPE Dance Teacher of the Year, 2004 United States Olympic Curling Coach of the Year, and 2004 SHAPE Elementary Teacher of the Year.
