Amy received her Bachelor’s in Business Marketing from the U of M Twin Cities campus.  She spent several years working for different software companies in Sales & Marketing before working in the Mahtomedi school district for 13 years as a Reading & Dyslexia Specialist.  She loved helping students in grades K-5 that were struggling with reading fluency, however, her real passion became dyslexia awareness and education. More recently, she worked at The College of St. Scholastica in the nursing department with the students in their Graduate Program.  Before she moved up to Duluth from the Twin Cities, Amy volunteered at the Hoc Rose Blind Horse Sanctuary providing animal Reiki to 8-10 horses.  In her free time, Amy enjoys walking & hiking on the trails, gardening and spending time with her twin daughters.
