Julie joined the Social Work department in August 2026 as the director for sponsored projects. Prior to taking this role, Julie worked as the CEHSP accountant. She graduated from St. Scholastica as a summa cum laude honor student with her Bachelor's degree in Accounting. In her role as the director of sponsored projects, she will provide support to faculty and staff interested in grant/research opportunities including but not limited to searching for new grant/research funding, help with developing budgets, and ensure the work remains in compliance with University and Federal guidelines. In her free time, Julie likes to spend time with family and friends. Her children are actively involved in hockey and rc racing so she is busy year round with rc events and hockey jamborees. She also enjoys camping and spending time at her family cabin. Specific hobbies would include kayaking, hiking, reading, music, puzzles, bingo, and diamond art.
