LeAnn Taylor, MA, CCC-SLP, is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She received her BA in Latin American Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1993 and her MA in Communication Disorders at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus in 2006. In between those two degrees, she spent time teaching Spanish, volunteering in Latin America, and working as a sailmaker.
After becoming a speech pathologist, LeAnn worked primarily for 19 years at Hennepin County Medical Center, specializing in outpatient services with latino pediatric patients and voice and upper airway disorders. She also worked in schools K-12 as a contract SLP. Her areas of interest are movement and manual therapy and integrative medicine.
LeAnn is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), Minnesota Speech-Hearing Association (MNSHA), MNVoice, and Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI). A perpetual lifelong learner, she is currently working toward certification in craniosacral therapy and vocology.
