Scott Carlson, interim CEHSP dean, praised her community-minded scholarship and service. “Dr. Hanson is a highly productive community-engaged scholar. Her research advances equity in individual and community health and is highly regarded by experts in the field. Her work is uniquely collaborative in nature, involving community members and other stakeholders as respected partners in the research enterprise,” said Carlson. “She has maintained a high level of research productivity, even while providing substantial service within our college, including as interim associate dean this year and previously as head of the Department of Applied Human Sciences and coordinator of the Public Health program.”
