Ashley Weber, MA, CCC-SLP, is a Clinical Instructor and the Director of Externships in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Ashley earned her MA degree from the University of Minnesota in 2011. Ashley coordinates the off-campus placements and teaching. She also provides clinical instruction and teaches courses in language disorders, advanced applications in communication modalities, clinical observation of communication disorders, and articulation and phonology. Previously she has taught courses in counseling applications of communication disorders, 

Ashley has 11+ years of clinical experience as a generalist in a trauma level II hospital in outpatient and acute care settings, with an added emphasis on diagnostic swallow studies. Ashley’s background includes both pediatric and geriatric patient populations. She continues to provide SLP services within the hospital setting and with a local skilled nursing facility within the Duluth community. 

Ashley’s clinical interests include neurogenic communication disorders, AAC, pediatric language development and disorders, pediatric articulation disorders, voice, dysphagia, and counseling aspects in communication disorders.

Ashley is eligible to serve as a second member on CSD Plan B Committees.
