Carina Barker has been teaching with the University of Minnesota-Duluth's social work program since 2009. She is currently teaching with both the BSW and MSW programs as a field instructor (BSW); the Grief, Loss and Coping course; and Evidenced based practice with the MSW program. Carina is also a psychotherapist with fifteen years experience working with adolescents and adults through St. Luke's Hillside Clinic. Her favorite part about teaching is the energy and creativity that students bring to the field. Carina is a proud alumni of UMD's social work program (class of 2000).
