Associate Professor
Hello, I'm Dr. Ladona Tornabene. Students call me Dr. Tornabene, and I am an associate professor in the public health program at UMD. My Ph.D. is in health education and my master's degree is in Health Promotion. I am also a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) through the National Center for Health Education Credentialing.
When it comes to research, my primary area of interest is arts and health. I am also interested in the role of nature in positively impacting health. I simply LOVE to teach. My mission in life is "To empower others to discover and pursue that which resonates between heartbeats."
