Hi, I’m Sandy Tautges. I am an instructor in both the Health EducationTeacher Education (HETE) program and Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) program at UMD. I am the School Health Coordinator for the HETE program. I earned my BS in Physical Education/Health Education and Development Adaptive Physical Education from St. Cloud State University. I pursued my Master’s of School Health Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I am also a CPR/First Aid instructor. When it comes to the PETE & HETE programs I absolutely love teaching. My favorite courses to teach are the Methods courses, it is so enjoyable to lead the teacher candidates into our profession. Outside of the classroom I enjoy ice fishing, early morning paddle boarding, gardening and evenings around the campfire.
