Before joining the TTCP, Carley had five plus years of experience helping the community learn and navigate the higher education system, especially relating to financial aid and student accounts. Previous work has included developing best practice guides and training in faculty and staff. She has also been a point of contact for programs like the Fostering Independence Grant, a program that seeks to eliminate that barrier for Minnesota students who were in the foster care system.
Carley has a passion to strive for accessibility, equity and understanding in past and any future projects she works on with the TTCP.
Carley has a Bachelor's of Arts in Communications and Social Sciences from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. She also has from CSS a Master's Degree in Education, with an emphasis on Culturally Responsive Teaching.
