Arielle Leith is a proud mother who comes from Rita Blue and Geri Leith of the Cansayapi Mdewakantan Oyate, or Lower Sioux Indian Community, where she is an enrolled citizen. 

She has experience in Tribal Child Welfare having served her home community for eight years in various capacities and ending as the Director of Human Services. Arielle has a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Indigenous and Dakota Studies. She is a Blandin Reservation Community Leadership Program alumni, and served as the Secretary for the American Indian Mental Health Advisory Council for 6 years where she advocated for the needs of her community and all American Indians in Minnesota. 
 
Arielle's purpose is to be a strong Dakota Winyan and mother to her children. She looks forward to bringing her passion for Indian Child Welfare to TTCP. It is important to her to partner with the Minnesota Tribes in her new role to assist them in any way to build strong relationships and ensure they have equitable access to high quality training and resources.
