The Mission of Upward Bound Vision Quest is:
To generate the skills and motivation necessary for low income, first generation students to complete secondary education and to enter and succeed in a program of post secondary education.
The Upward Bound Vision Quest program goals are to:
- Increase high school graduation rates.
- Increase the number of Upward Bound students attending post secondary institutions the fall following high school graduation.
- Increase the number of Upward Bound students receiving a college degree within six years of high school graduation.
- Increase competency in challenging subject matters including: English, mathematics, science, languages, and literature.
