Elementary Education - tenure track

The Department of Education at the University of Minnesota Duluth invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Elementary Education to begin August 19, 2019. We are seeking a teacher/scholar who is committed to excellence in collegiate teaching, and who possesses the interest and ability to establish an active research program resulting in the creation and dissemination of knowledge. The Education department offers 16 undergraduate teaching licensure programs.

Clinical or Counseling Psychology - tenure track

The Psychology Department at the University of Minnesota Duluth invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Clinical or Counseling Psychology to commence August 19, 2019.  We are seeking a teacher/scholar who is committed to excellence in collegiate teaching, and who possesses the interest and ability to establish an active research program resulting in the creation and dissemination of knowledge.  The area of specialty is open; however, it is preferred that applicants have research experience in the area of clinical assessment, intervention, or prevention with expertise in multicultural issues, child or adolescent mental health, or clinical cognitive neuropsychology.

Public Health - tenure track

The Department of Applied Human Sciences at the University of Minnesota Duluth has a full-time, tenure track faculty position available at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor for its Public Health program beginning August 19, 2019. Job duties and responsibilities include teaching, advising, research, and service. Social Work - tenure track

Job duties and responsibilities include teaching, advising, research, and service. Required qualifications include a Doctorate in Social Work or related field (e.g., Education, Public Health, Sociology, Psychology, American Indian Studies) completed by time of appointment; a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education; a clearly articulated research agenda; and active commitment to fostering diversity across campus, the social work curriculum, and the social work department. Social Work - visiting

The Department of Social Work at the University of Minnesota Duluth invites applicants for a one-year Visiting Faculty position. Applicants should have a clearly articulated research agenda that focuses on research with American Indian peoples and communities broadly defined (e.g. health, education, policy, etc.). Required qualifications include a masters’ degree in social work or related field (e.g., Education, Public Health, Sociology, Psychology, American Indian Studies) completed by time of appointment; a clearly articulated research agenda; and active commitment to fostering diversity across campus, the social work curriculum, and the social work department. Preferred qualifications include a doctorate in social work or related field (e.g. Education, Public Health, Sociology, Psychology, American Indian Studies); and teaching experience in higher education (graduate teaching experience acceptable). If applicant has an MSW, practice experience is preferred in one or more of the following areas of practice:  American Indian policy and practice, clinical social work, advanced organization and community practice, child welfare, social work with diverse populations, research, human behavior in the social environment, field, and global issues. If applicant has an MSW, they must be eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota. The position begins August 19, 2019.
