Aydin Durgunoglu, Distinguished Global Professor in UMD’s Department of Psychology, was recently invited to give a plenary talk at the “International Symposium on SLA-based Language Pedagogy” at Jinan University in Guanghzou, China.
One of the organizers of the conference was Xu Heng, a professor in the School of Foreign Studies at Jinan University. Dr. Xu received her Ed.D degree from UMD's Department of Eduction.
Also presenting at the conference was Cao Peihong, a faculty member at Northeast Normal University in China. Dr. Cao also received her Ed.D. degree from UMD.
